Nina holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leeds and a Master of Laws in Media, Communications and IT Law from the University of New South Wales.
Nina has held positions as a legal editor and product developer with Buttherworths and LexisNexis working on some of Australia's leading legal publications, editing a variety of titles and commissioning books for the academic and practitioner markets.
Nina was admitted to practice on 13 March 2007 in the Supreme Court of Victoria, and prior to joining FAL Lawyers in December 2009 she worked in boutique law firms in Melbourne which specialise in intellectual property, commercial and construction law.
Nina is experienced in copyright, trade marks, franchising, food regulation and related Trade Practices Act compliance, commercial and building contracts and disputes. Nina has conducted a variety of commercial and construction litigation matters in all Victorian court jurisdictions and the Federal Court.
Nina provides legal advice in relation to intellectual property, commercial and contractual matters and has relevant experience in:
- drafting commercial contracts;
- intellectual property and technology protection and commercialisation; and
- negotiating and implementing licensing, assignment and other commercialisation agreements.
